I wanted to do a shout out today about my wedding photographer Lydia Evans as she's launching her new website. I'd worked with Lydia in my previous life as a Picture Editor for a rather lovely travel guide publishers and knew she had an amazing eye for detail and composition. As a picture editor choosing a photographer for one of the biggest days of your life is pretty tough but then I was looking through a shoot for a new guide book and remembered how much I loved her work and thought, "boom" that's it, that's who'll shoot our wedding.
Lydia is a professional photographer specialising in editorial, design and children photography. She knows her stuff. We asked for natural reportage style photos with a handful of formal-ish family shots and Lydia ticked all the boxes with a smile. For more of our wedding check these, these and these posts.
Lydia documents the day as it happens, without formula, capturing you and those you love having fun. Her aim is to take pictures that are fresh, contemporary, true to life observations. Lydia says she will try to be everywhere and nowhere, and certainly hopes to add to the fun.
