Friday Finds... and Fireworks

So, as I may have mentioned once or twice it is mine and my hubby's one year wedding anniversary this weekend and so I thought I'd give this week's Friday Finds a nod towards a theme.
Ed and I got very carried away with the idea of marrying on Bonfire Weekend when we were setting our date. Not only would we have a wonderful fireworks display on the day we'd forever have a great excuse for a big party to celebrate our wedding over the next 50 years - we can't wait to have bonfires surrounded by friends and loads of children while we tuck into bangers and mash! Unfortunately after confirming the venue and date the owner of the land the venue was on informed us we would not be able to have any fireworks due to nearby cattle (and an inconsiderate wedding couple previously taking the **ss with their fireworks display).
So the dramatic fireworks display to end the night went out the window. We did manage however to have sparklers in the puddings and the kids played with more sparklers in the evening not to mention Ed's cousin's hubby David did an amazing job of decorating the tree outside with lights and close friend Aidan created a really super fireworks-esque display using lights on the bare walls of the barn. So we got pretty close, plus we were having way too much fun to stop and go outside in the end anyhow!

So here to brighten your Friday up and get you all set for the fireworks fun this weekend are some sparkly themed Friday Finds...
