I went off to London last weekend to the Luxury Wedding Show, taking PiP's Real Bride Sarah B with me and my oh my was it luxury! The dresses were spectacular, one of my favourites was there House of Tammam, you may remember their dresses from this post.
They are launching a new bespoke lace service that I couldn't wait to tell you about. With lace all over the bridal markets this season, the new offering from Atelier Tammam is allowing brides a totally personal touch to their gowns. Hand crafted by highly skilled artisans under fair trade employment conditions, the lace uses wild peace silk yarn and traditional techniques, matched with modern styling and personal details to ensure every lace is unique. Laces can be made into over layers or applique for dresses, scarves, shawls or trims for veils. The Tammam designer will work with each bride to ensure that symbols meaningful to them and their grooms are incorporated into their lace.

Isn't this such a wonderful idea? Take a look at their site for another peek at their beautiful dresses.
I'm a huge fan of lace, my mum hand makes lace and so I've grown up with it and my sister and I were both lucky enough to have our very own garters handmade for us for our wedding day. Did you wear a garter on your day? Would you pay for a hand-made one for your big day or is it just too much of an expense?
Aside from the wonderful dresses and the AMAZING catwalk there was a pretty treat worthy goody bag. My faves from the bag were a handy canvas bag from Illustries which is a stand I spotted and I got distracted talking to another and forgot to return to. I'm going to delve into the company a little more and hope to be back with a report. The other top treat was a nail varnish.
This OPI Nail Lacquer polish was in the goody bag and my what a treat it was. It's called "Isn't it Romantic?" a very apt name, non? I've been wearing it all week and it is just such a perfect wedding nail polish. A slight pink shade but sheer enough to show off your own nails underneath. It's a beautiful subtle shade that would be perfect for your wedding day.
One of my favourite UK wedding blogs ever has done a wonderful write up on the show so do go and take a look.
Another sneak peek at what is coming soon to Poppy in Pearls. These wonderful pompoms will brighten up any marquee or would work perfectly above a dessert buffet table.
What plans do you have for the weekend folks? Any wedding planning? Venue hunting? Meal tastings? We have some great friends visiting, a restaurant booked and a relaxed Sunday planned. Very much looking forward to it.
Enjoy your weekend, happy Friday
